Bij de installatie van airco units en warmtepompen is de vacuümpomp de enige tool die nog steeds een stopcontact vereist. Met name op daken leidt dit tot lastige situatie's. Als aanvulling op de gevestigde vacuümpompen op kabels, lanceert ROTHENBERGER nu ook vacuümpompen op accu. Zij functioneren tot 90 minuten met een enkele batterijlading (enkel 8Ah accu).
